Oh my gosh I am Loving Kenya. This month my team and I are in Bungoma, Kenya working with International Growth MInistries (IGC). We are living with a wonderful Pastor, his wife, two children and their amazing helper. We live in their beautiful home with a litle neighbor boy who makes monster noises when he comes to visit during meals. I already feel like such a family with the people here in Bungoma.
Our ministry this month will be to share the love of Jesus as much as possible. Ive been afraid of Africa because normally it is all about preaching and I hate public speaking, however our pastor is easing us into it. We will go and do door to door ministry during the day, go to worship team practice, bible studyies during the week and someone will preach at both of the services on Sunday mornings. We will be going to an orphange and doing hospital prayer visits during the week as well. The scheldule sounds busy and a little overwhelming but im so excited to be in Africa it doesnt even matter. Eeeek i'm in Kenya, Africa and there are little chunky nuggets everywhere that I get to love on! And our supermarket this month sells double stuffed oreos, that I may have gotten carried away with!!
