Before leaving El Salvador and heading to Guatemala we were told that we would be camping, having bucket showers, and cooking our own food. “WE ARE FINALLY ON THE WORLD RACE!!” Is what ran through many of our heads; it might have even come out of our mouths too!

We spent a day in Antigua, Guatemala before hopping on a bus with another team to head out to Coban, which was only supposed to be about a 4-hour drive.

6 hours later our bus stops on the side of a mountain where we are greeted by our contact Marco, Pastor Luis, and a few of his 9 children! They told us to grab our stuff; we had to hike up the mountain for about 8 minutes before we would arrive to our destination.

30 minutes later the last of us made it up to the top, to our new home! It’s a quaint little place on the side of the mountain. The house that our belongings are staying in has a cement floor, with a lock on the door; but the room that we are sleeping in has a dirt floor with doors that don’t really close and rats everywhere at night….but, we do have electricity…sometimes!

So life here is pretty different for us. It’s at least a 20 minute hike to anything and then a bus ride from that point, there is no running water, it’s freezing outside, we have chickens roosters and ducks everywhere, and it’s quite beautiful!

This month is going to be totally different than the two months previous, but I have no doubt that it is going to be an incredible month full of heart change, laughter, lot’s of faith, and climbing up and down mountains!

My next deadline is April 1st and I am currently $2,500 short; which makes me $6,937 short of being fully funded! I would love it if you would consider being apart of this incredible ministry that I have been so privelaged to be called into!! This is just as much an opportunity for you to take the Gospel to the nations as it is for me, I have simply been called to be the messanger!
