I watched this movie the other night (October Baby), that totally made me cry…kind of a lot. At the end of the movie, while the credits were rolling, this song was playing that repeated over and over again, “Life is beautiful.” Throughout the song they named several examples of the things that make life beautiful. Things like a father’s love, a wedding dance, shooting stars, fireworks and so much more.
As I was wiping away all of the tears and snot from my face I started thinking about the fact that life really is so beautiful. Usually I am so aware of the beauty and God’s glory as I walk through my days, but lately I have struggled to be aware of the positive. Truthfully, I have struggled to find my ultimate satisfaction in Him, it’s no wonder I don’t see the world as beautiful.
As I walk through life and learn how to continually put Him first and find ultimate satisfaction and contentment in Him and who He is I have to start to make an effort to find the beauty in my everyday life. Because the truth is that life is so beautiful, and for some reason the Lord has chosen us to share that beauty with.
How lucky are we?!?
So as I have walked through these last few days, trying to intentionally find the beauty in life, I see it everywhere. Life really is beautiful and I want to share some of it with you. Unfortunately I cannot show you pictures of these things because I was too busy enjoying them, so let my words paint a picture of this incredible beauty.
