This entire support raising process has been so incredible in so many ways! I have really been challenged to grow a lot in this area over the last 8 months of my life! For the first time ever I have really had to ask people for money. I am confident that the Race is exactly where God wants me to be for the next 9 months of my life. And I have had to take that confidence in this decision and invite people to become apart of my journey by praying for me and giving financially.
I won't lie, it was extremely challenging to do this; but it has paid off in such a huge way!! The total cost of the Race is $15,500.00. I wasn't really sure how I was going to raise $5,000.00, but I am so excited to tell you that because God is so good, and people are willing to respond to the opportunity to support a missionary I currently have $9,113.00 in my World Race account!!
I am so blown away by people's generosity and just their willingness to join me in this ministry opportunity that God has provided me! The support that I have recieved from people has been mind blowing, but I still need help.
You see, my next deadline is April 1st, no that is not an April Fool's joke, and I am just under $2,000.00 short for that deadline.
I'm in no way nervous or worried about this because like I said earlier, I am confident that this is exactly where God wants me to be! I do however have to ask again for help. I cannot do this on my own. Missions was not designed to be done alone. Paul, the man that is said to be the greatest missionary to walk the Earth, couldn't do it by himself either. He required the help of people from every part of the world that he traveled to.
I invite you to join me on this incredible adventure and ask that you would really pray and consider how God may be leading you in this area. I need a total of $6,386.00 to be fully funded, is God calling you to be apart of this ministry?
