This is the forth month that my team has been together, and over the last 3 1/2 months we have really gotten to know each other pretty well. That tends to happen when you live and work together 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, you do come to a point when you know so much about each other that it is easy to stop learning more and more, so we had a team time this week that really encouraged us to go a little deeper, and it was really fun.

We took about a week and each of us wrote a list or a poem or anything that we wanted that described who we are. Some of the facts are well known, but some of them were new. It was a really fun activity, and I wanted to share who I am with all of you, so below is my I am Savannah list….enjoy!!

So, I think that I am an easy person so figure out, but I am finding that I can be quite the challenge sometimes.

My favorite thing to do is laugh, but I end up crying a lot too.

My favorite color is red, but at the same time I really have a thing for teal.

I’m not one for middle-grounds; I either love something or hate it. This fact sometimes get’s me into trouble because I can take things too far.

My intentions are never to hurt or break people down, but sometimes I do. Usually I catch myself though, and can make it right some how.

I have very high expectations for myself and other people, and sometimes when they don’t reach them I find that I feel very let down by them; but it’s not their fault, I’m the one that set that for them.

I’m stubborn; I like things to be my way, but the more I grow the more I realize that my way isn’t always the best way.

My mom is one of my best friends in life, but she has a tendency to make me pretty upset sometimes.

My brother is one of my favorite people in life, and he always knows exactly which buttons to push to set me off.

My sister and I are exactly alike, but that tends to bring out the very worst in us; but we always find a way to laugh and enjoy each other despite that.

My dream is to change the world, and I believe that God is preparing me for that. In fact, I would say that He is very much already using me for that very thing. It just doesn’t look like what I thought it would.

I love movies!! Movies that make you laugh; movies that make you cry; and movies that make you think…what the heck?!?! I love them!!

Sometimes I just have to get over myself, and when I finally do that great things happen.

I am bold and confident; loud and proud. (some people would say that is because I am from Texas, and sometimes I would agree.)

As loud as I am, I also know when to be quiet; I don’t always do it, but I usually know it.

My mom says that I am fearless and sensitive all wrapped up in one; I would agree with her on that.

I am loving and caring, but not in a mushy kind of way.

I can be either funny or serious, but I most definitely like to be funny!

Sometimes I struggle with a self-righteous attitude, but I think that I have improved in that area over the last 7 months…. experiencing the world and other cultures can most definitely do that to you.

When I love, I love with all that I have.

Sometimes I put my friendships on a pedestal, but God very graciously removes them from that place in my heart.

I love adventures, and I love having fun stories to tell.

I want to be the person that is so full of the Spirit that when I leave people’s presence they can’t help but know and feel the difference.

Having a mentor in life is one of my favorite things.

Cherry pull and peel twizzlers are the bomb.

Dr. Pepper is my coke of choice.

Chips and Salsa is my favorite food group.

When I hear children laughing and playing my heart melts; I want all children to laugh and play until they can laugh and play no more!

I don’t ever want to stop being a child, and I encourage more “grown-ups” to experience life as a child…you will definitely enjoy it more!

I’m a pretty adaptable person, going from place to place isn’t so terrible for me.

Basically, I am just a girl trying to live a life that pleases Jesus. I’m learning so much about what that really looks like, and with that comes constant change. Change is good, and it keeps me on my toes; I don’t know exactly what my life holds for me, but I know that my life will change the world, even if it is only through it’s ripples.
