I mentioned in a previous blog that I had the opportunity to plan a children's program for church yesterday! Well I am here to announce that it was incredible!!

There were about 6 or 7 of us that expressed interest in the opportunity and so things began to roll. It was exciting to be apart of something that I am so in love with again! But this time I tried something a little different…delegation!! Instead of trying to do games, worship snacks, and story time all by myself; this time I figured out what people love to do and I let them take care of it! This thing that should be so simple, but for me can be so difficult, proved to make my life so much better, and each person did such an incredible job with their portion of the morning!! Lesson learned!!

So yesterday we walked over to the church to gather all of the children and almost every seat in the building was occupied by a child! There were even some children there that we had invited the day before on our prayer walk through the community! It took my breath away and brought tears to my eyes to know that I had been blessed with the opportunity to share the Gospel with over 30 children! That is over 30 souls that will grow up one day and become the backbone of their communities and country, they will be leaders, mothers, fathers, business owners, farmers, neighbors, teachers, and so much more; and God gave me the responsibilty of sharing His love and desire for them with them! Can you say humbling?!?!

We got the kids back to the room where it all went down and it was a little scary with the language barrier, but we jumped right in! We played games like Simon Says and Freeze Dance, sang fun songs that made the kids smile and laugh all while praising Jesus, we had some awesome cookies and pineapple kool-aid, and then it was time for the Gospel!!

Sharing this incredible story with these children is something that I have been praying over all week! To share the Gospel is exciting, but to do it in Spanish is a little scary! But I had my notes, I knew that this was the thing that God put on my heart, and I had the support of my team; So I went for it! It was probably one of the most challenging things that I have had to do on the race, but it was so incredible too, to see the kids faces and hear them say things like JesuCristo in the midst of me telling them this thing that blows my mind! A few times my emotions swept through my body and I had to fight just to take a breath, but it was so exhilirating…I loved it! And at the end of the story time I gave them an opportunity to pray and recieve Christ as their personal savior. None of them openly admitted to praying that prayer and putting their faith in Christ, but in my heart I know that yesterday changed things for several of these little kids. They may not have made a decision yesterday, but seeds were planted, Christ's love was shared, and for the first time church was just for them.

This is the thing that God has called me to, and I am consistantly humbled to know that He has chosen me for this; I know that I write that often in my blogs. I am just so incredibly excited about it, I mean I am holding back the tears right now just thinking about these children and how much Jesus loves them!

Oh boy…Jesus is using me to change the world, one child at a time!
