As some of you know, my mom passed away two years ago (on the 24th), two days after her 67th birthday. You can read that story here: When a Parent Dies While You’re on the Race

My mom was one of the most generous, compassionate and loving people I have ever known. She willingly gave her time and resources to help those in need, without wanting or expecting anything in return: all with a smile on her face. My desire this year is to honor her legacy and the kindness she exuded on a daily basis. My challenge to each of you is to do a random act of kindness for someone this month in honor of my momma. It’s simple: write someone a card and mail it to them, pay for the person behind you in a drive-thru, carry a person’s groceries to their car, shovel someone’s driveway…or be creative and come up with something clever. All I ask is that help spread the word and have others participate by sharing this blog, email me what you did, and if you use social media use the hashtag: #raktohonorsonja

This woman’s legacy will be kept alive, one random act of kindness at a time.

Thank you for helping!!

Much love,

Savannah
