Last week I was broken, and then restored!
Last week was physically, and spiritually straining.
Last week I wanted to give up.
Last week I was living in fear and doubt.
Last week my life changed!
Last week my family grew by 60-70 people!

I was nervous about how our squad would 'connect' but seriously it could not have gone better. I never knew I could love people that I seriously just met so much. We were there for each  other, we listened, we cried together, we laughed together, and we danced together! But seriously I have never been in this type of Christian community before and it was awesome.

Dr. Ron Walborn spoke to us the first 3 days. He seriously rocked my world. I never knew all the things I was holding on to that I needed to let go and hand it over to God.

We did some healing which was very new to me. Growing up in a southern baptist church you believe that God can heal and you believe in miracles but you don't practice them. So going into this I was a little skeptical, but God def took that right out of me. We prayed for a girl on another squad who had hurt her ankle dancing and didn't think she would be able to dance again, a few nights later she was on stage dancing. Our God is Good!

We also did some prophecy which was also very new to me. I am such a family oriented person, so one of my biggest fears about leaving for the race was not seeing my family for a year. I have not told many people about that fear on my squad so it amazed me when we started doing prophecy how many people God spoke to and told them to tell me that while I'm gone on the Race he is taking care of my family and not to worry.

Training Camp was hard! From the food, to sleeping on a bus with all your gear. But now that I have went through it, I can tell you that it was the best week of my life. I left on July 14 and came back on June 21 a new person!

Oh yeah, while we were at training camp we got put into our teams that we will be doing ministry and living life with. This was another part of the race that made me worry. I was so afraid of getting into a "bad" team. But God blessed me with a incredible team!

Team Shofar!

These 6 people are such a blessing to me!  (left to right) Geena (our team leader) , Justin, Me, Sarah, Raj, Hannah, & Alexa.

This so cool how God put us on a team together because we all bring something different to the table. I am so excited to see what this next year brings for each of us!

Thank you so much for your prayers and support. Please continue to keep me in your prayers but also add my 6 new team members as well!
