We made it to our ministry site for month two in Talanga, Honduras. The whole squad is staying together at a ranch house that has 16 beds. For this reason, the majority of the squad built “hammock lane” on the front patio or tent city in the back yard.

We have three different ministries this month and my team will be working with the Joy Bombs (couldn’t be more excited) here at the ranch. We will be doing a whole range of things from building a new fence, building a roof at the medical clinic, working in the medical clinic, feeding kids at three schools, attending/leading four church services, teaching english and tutoring, and organizing and cleaning. We will have a packed month!

I’m writing this from a hammock overlooking a ridiculous amount of mountains. Guys keep riding by on horses and in carts pulled by oxen. We are definitely in the sticks but it’s nice having the whole squad together out here. Ministry starts Monday and my next update will be in two weeks when we come to Tegucigalpa for internet!
