Hey people.
We are wrapping up our last few days in Albania and I’m nothing short of heartbroken.
I have absolutely fallen in love with this country, the people, the students, our host, and the church we have been attending.
As soon as we got to our hosts home the very first day I could already feel Albania pulling at my heart.
So, im most likely going to come back to Tirana in the post-race future, God willing. There are so many opportunities for ministry here and I feel such a strong pull to everything here and cant wait to see what role it plays in my life.
So this month we have been working at an English school hosting a summer camp! We have theatre classes, dance class, sports, games, and art. We teach and improve the kids English skills just by having every day conversation with them.
This month has been VERY different than any children ministry before. The children we worked with in Asia were mostly from very poor families that couldn’t afford good education and could hardly give their children enough clothing or food.
These children, on the other hand, come from the wealthiest in Albania and are extremely entitled at time. They are awesome kids, and we have had so much fun with them, but it has just shown us that children everywhere need to see the love of Christ no matter their background or how they act (very bad sometimes lol)
We love them anyways!
Here is a cute video that my teammate Mikayla made for the camp.
