My name is Saraya Stewart. Im a Dallas local that recently graduated with a BA in Psychology and Sociology. Anyone that knows me knows that I’m a coffee addict, I adore goats, and have a crippling fear of monkeys.(Yes, even the “cute” ones).
I also have a passion for people in general, whether it be engaging with those from different backgrounds and life styles, immersing myself in a culture far removed from mine and finding a common connection, or just surrounding myself with a variety of community. People watching is definitely one of my favorite pastimes.
I always knew I desperately wanted to go to as many places in the world as possible and share the love of Christ. I definitely inherited my dad’s love for travel. The World Race is the incredible opportunity for me to fulfill my desire and my mission from the Lord to reach those across the globe with the good news of His immeasurable love given through the Son.
My hopes for this blog is to keep friends, family, and anyone else updating on my progress leading up to the trip as well as adventures, trials, and triumphs during the 11 months that I am on the Race.
