To me, the World Race is not about going to as many places as I can to help people, but to experience the different cultures this world has to offer in order to learnfrom them as a student of life, hope, love, and hardship.
I will do good. I will help people. Only because God does it through me.
I do not want to go on this amazing mission
thinking I have all of the answers on how to fix people and their problems because I don’t. I don’t know their struggles or their gifts. I don’t know their culture, history, or beliefs. I don’t know their hearts.
I go as a student to understand them and hopefully I can offer them something in return.
I am going to keep this in mind for the few months left here in America, because I know there is a lot I don’t know about the people I meet every day.
