Team Changes.

Our squad has not known many team changes. I have only had 2 teams prior to this. Others have had a few more. And I have only been on a team with 5 other women. Richelle was raised up as a squad leader and so the rest of our team stayed together and added 2 more girls to go from team

PAC (Pure. Anonymous. Chosen) to Kon

Srey (Daughters). It was a great new season

of growth and sisterhood.

We traveled through Africa together and during all squad month in Romania. PVT came and went and we split the team in half during that time.

Then we went to debrief in Brasov and had an amazing time. It is a lovely little city. Team changes were on the horizon. After our open mic night,

we had a rose ceremony to find out our new teams. If you have ever seen the bachelor, you know what I am talking about. The team leaders got upon stage and called our names one by one. They handed us a gift and that is how we learned our new teams.

We had our make a memory time at a local pub and talked about a new team name. After a few ideas were thrown out we landed on marrow. Allow me to explain:

Marrow is in the bones of living things. This is because marrow brings life. It produces the red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. Red blood cells transport oxygen to the body and it also expells the carbon dioxide from the body.

White blood cells help the body fight against infection. They attack invading bacteria, viruses etc.

Platelets help the blood coagulate (stick together) and forms scabs.

We are the body of Christ my brothers and sisters. Team Marrow is part of that body. We are here to bring a breath of fresh air and to get rid of the poison, fight for each other against the invading spiritual attacks, thoughts, and struggles, and to help heal and bring the body of Christ closer to each other and God. Marrow is made up of different parts performing different functions, just like team Marrow.

I’m excited to see how God uses these women to grow me and to further His Kingdom.

Much Love,

Saraya
