Adventure is a Journey.
It’s the rush and excitement of going to a new country and culture.
It’s the feeling you get when you see God move.
It’s watching people come to Christ.
But there are other parts too.
It’s swinging next to a small child in the Swazi sunwhile waiting for your bus. Picking him up out of the dirt when an older kid takes his swing and giving him yours.
It’s making conversation with the coffee shop owner and then praying for her.
It’s the quiet 6 hour bus ride just taking in the beauty of God’s creation.
It’s the times you choose love over frustration, selflessness over selfishness, joy over grief.
And it’s the times you fail, but are lifted up by your fellow travelers.
Adventure is choosing to go outside of your comfort zone, get your hands dirty, and live with purpose.
Adventure is a journey you start when you decide to trust God with everything and follow Him.
