A little about me: I turned 18 in February this past year and graduated from Downingtown West High School in Downingtown PA! I moved here my sophomore year from Singapore, moved to Singapore 5 years before that from Tokyo, and moved from Tokyo 3 years before that from Birmingham Alabama. I have 5 older brothers, and two amazing parents and I have always been super close with all of them (so these 9 months away are going to be hard in that aspect, but its going to be so worth it)
I didn’t realize that taking a gap year was going to be part of my plan until the beginning of April 2017, when I was having trouble making the big decision of where I want to go to college. My parents brought up World Race, and immediately I knew I wanted to do it. It is crazy how much stress and anxiety has been lifted off my shoulders once I knew where God was taking me this next year.
I love traveling, hiking, reading (gotta love harry potter) photography, music (basically all music), all animals, watching movies, and anything that involves spending time with people:)
In college, I plan to major in either nursing or occupational therapy, and have been taking courses and have been involved in programs to prepare me for the medical world of college. Although I am currently enrolled in Grove City College as part of the class of 2022, I am still not 100% positive where I am going to go after this next year, but I trust that it is in the Lords hands. I am so pumped for the WORLD RACE GAP YEAR!!
