After graduating high school from Burnt Hills High School, a small farm town in Upstate NY, I was positive of this: college wasn’t for me, and I wanted to do ministry forever. After receiving my Cosmetology License and working as a nanny for a while, I decided to take a step of faith and move to Fort Collins, Colorado to go on staff for LifePointe Church’s youth group. I fell in love with the state and the church family, but also was falling in love with my boyfriend back home in NY. We are now engaged and excited to enter this new season together. I love quality family time with my big family, our cuddly dog and my new family (Freddy’s family). I love to sing, play the piano, speak sarcastically and use blank expressions while I talk. I love chipotle, my Fiance and Greys Anatomy. The World Race is going to be life changing, for others and for me. It’s going to shape who I am becoming, and I am so amped for God to challenge me in it.
I don’t really know how to write a bio about myself, I think this would be a lot easier if I asked someone else to write it for me.. but hey, one thing I am confident in is that God has given me a passion for missions, wherever it is that He puts me. I want to share the hope that I’ve been given in Christ with everyone. I want children to know they are loved and chosen and wanted. I want kids to hold their heads high because they are defined by Christ’s love. God’s given me the opportunity to go on the World Race. It’s an opportunity to reach hundreds of people, and to share the Gospel with people who’ve never heard Christ’s name before. Guys – I am beyond excited. This is going to be hard, scary, and wonderful… but I can’t do it alone. God is in the front seat, I’m just following. Somehow He’s given me this opportunity and my prayer is that I can use it to 100% glorify Him. It’s not about me, its about bring hundreds of people to salvation. Lets. Do it.
