Right when we made it to Bogota! I somehow mananaged to get locked in a bathroom and the security guard said on his walkie talkie “another white woman got locked in the bathroom.”

This was in the backyard area of our ministry site. We would come out here to play basketball, volleyball, obstacle courses etc.

Making arepas! This is soaked corn that was ground up to make the arepas.

Here we are at church with Hector. He was an incredible chef and wants to open his own restaurants one day!

Teaching the kids english. This day we were singing “head, shoulders, knees and toes.”

One day after church we climbed to the top of the hill where we lived. It was beautiful to see all of Bogota.

Adventure day exploring old town. This building was where the Congress met.

This was one of our final days. Saying goodbye to all the kids and people who worked at Formavida was bittersweet. We loved them deep.
