When we were in Nepal in May, Sojourners Squad had team changes. We changed from our first team from the first half of the Race to our second team for this second half. I was asked to Team Lead for this second half. It has already been over three months with this team, and I can say that this has been an incredible season in it’s own way.
When we found out our new teams, we each had a piece of paper with words that were prophesied over our team.
These are the words from the Lord for Team Torch:
*John 16:12-13 (TPT), “There is so much more I would like to say to you, but it’s more than you can grasp at this moment. But when the truth-giving Spirit comes, He will unveil the reality of every truth within you. He won’t speak His own message, but only what He hears from the Father, and He will reveal prophetically to you what is to come.”
*Unveiling truth, mysteries, and identity.
*Forward movement.
*Compelled and propelled by Truth.
*Intimacy with, connection to, hearing from, and obedience/submission to the Father.
*Being made ready.
*New gifting.
*Intertwined.

As we continue on this Race that is set before us, we want to continue burning for the Kingdom, press into a deeper relationship with the Father, being overflowed with the power of the Holy Spirit and be the Torch that never burns out.
Romans 12:11-12 (ESV), “Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.”
Soli Deo Gloria.
