Sorry about my lack of communication lately.
We arrived in Romania about a week ago (cue song lyrics) and in these first months God has shown me some fun stuff and let me do things I never done before. And I love doing new things for the most part. You say change and I say no. but then I’m like yeah okay you right. Lets do this. So here are some fun clips of how life has been so far as a month 2 racer.
-Slept with no blanket or sheet because of the heat (and actually got used to it)
-Became the morning person of the group (yeah, Jesus can do some crazy things)
-Had less than 10 showers my first month (two of which were using a jug of water)
-Traveled by city Bus and Taxi
-Swam in the Adriatic Sea
-Rode a Train through the mountains (Video Blog included below)
-Cried during a movie. (Yeah, never have. Yet this time “If I Stay” got me)
-Cooked dinner for 12 people then cooked dinner for 45 people.
-Told something very personal about my life in front of 45 people.
-Played soccer and actually scored a goal! (And had several almost assists!)
-Legit street evangelism some of who I used a translator for.
-Was told I have the gift of intercession. (prayer for others)
-Got a mega migraine (Yep. Never had one before.)
The last 3 tie together as a story in our first week here in Romania that will be posted later. As of now I just want to say that this place is absolutely so full of God’s work, but it is also so full of deception and darkness. Our host is a man named Raul who leads several different ministries that focus on “Godly people, doing Godly Projects, with Godly Partners”. Ya’ll. This man has a LOT on his plate and so many opportunities to get involved (I can give more info if anyone is looking for a way to serve the Kingdom of God).
Sorry about this months communication, we don’t have wifi in our home this month and we haven’t had time to find a good connection. There is a gas station/coffee shop with wifi nearby, but if more than 4 people are on it, nobody can use it. Now I realize that I miss everyone because I can’t communicate when I want to. It’s strange.
Side note: I just want to thank my supporters. Thank you for prayers, letters, funds, blog reads, and video views. Everything that God is doing here is all with thanks to you getting me here.
