Hiya folks! Here is quick little FAQ and a prayer reminder.
The day is drawing closer and my heart is already trying to reach across the ocean.
So lots of you have been asking questions and we just gained some more info about that actually!
“When are you leaving!?”
I leave Texas on the 3rd of August. BUT I won’t leave the country till about the 6th or 7th. So on the third I will travel to the Launch Site in Georgia and go over a few more things before we head out.
“Where is your first country?!”
There has been yet ANOTHER route change. So as of now, I will be going to, Albania, Romania, Bulgaria, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, Lesotho, South Africa, Namibia, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic.
My team should arrive in Tirana, Albania on August 8th.
“What are you going to be doing!?”
Our ministry as of now is working with a Local Church. Assisting with their youth program, preparing a kindergarten that is being built, and doing a little teaching. Of course, with ministry, you never know what you might actually end up doing. Only time will really tell.
“How many people are you going with?!”
We have several different teams on the squad each with 5-7 members. My team has a total of 6, BUT good news for all you worried warts out there, I will actually be in Tirana with 10 others! (Not including logistics people or mentors and what not.) They have combined our team with the Radiant Rubies to create a mini army that I am so completely stoked to be working with. God really has something good cooking in this kitchen.
“Are you fully funded??”
“Are you Excited??”
YEAH GIRL. LETS BLOW THIS POPSICLE STAND.
(Translation: Yes, I cannot wait to meet and serve the people of Albania.)
Now I would like to remind you to pray about these things and invite others to join you in praying.
-getting all my stuff together and packed
-our hearts and minds as we prepare to leave
-unity among our teams
-smooth transitions
-final funds to come in
-wisdom, discernment, and courage to share the Gospel
-God appointments and obedience in them
