Ahhh this is so exciting!
I am so excited to see what God has in store for this trip! He has already done so much and i cant wait to see what He has planned for the future!
My name is Sarahbeth Orr and I am 19 years old. I was born in Louisiana and raised in South Alabama. I have been out of High School for 2 years and let’s just say that the piece of paper I had my life planned out on is now in the trash. I went to college right after high school like you’re “supposed’ to, but that only lasted a year. I decided I was going to take a year off to figure out what I really wanted to spend the rest of my life doing. God had bigger plans. Over the summer I found out that the school I attended as a freshman and sophomore in high school, when my family lived in Haiti, needed teachers this year, so I applied. Annnd here I am now sitting in my house in Haiti writing this! I have really been praying about what God wanted me to do next year and one day I found the world race page on Instagram. I stalked the page for a few days and then the gap year applications opened up! I applied that night, prayed, and went to sleep. One week later I was accepted! I have seen God show up and show out in so many ways already I can not wait to see what He does next! I have met so many amazing people just this past week and I can’t wait to meet so many more! LET THE ADVENTURES BEGIN!
