Hey Followers!

Many assume the gospel is something mainly for non-believers, the book of Galatians reminds us that it must also be the motivation for how we as believers carry out our every day lives. Amongst worldly mixed messages, it’s only in the work and person of Jesus that we can we find true peace, freedom, and lasting joy. Even though our scariest, darkest trials, God is still God. Within Him, We are stronger and braver than we are in ourselves.

I pray God would show you that no matter what you come to in life you will always have a Father that loves you. To find comfort knowing God never lets you struggle alone. That you find your true value and always know that you have worth in His eyes.

Six quick reminders from Galatians can be found in 1:10, 2:20, 3:27, 4:7, 5:25 & 6:9

Galatians 1:10- Don’t live for the approval of others

Galatians 2:20- You aren’t defined by your past

God breathed life into dust, making something wonderful out of something worthless. All of creation, God has been bringing value to the valueless, hope to the hopeless, and life to the lifeless. Don’t you dare look at yourself and deny what God sees in you! (1 Samuel 16:7)

When we were at our worst, lowest point, and absolutely no one could clean us up, at that moment Christ said, “I’ll take that one, That’s the one I want.”

Galatians 3:27- Your worth is in Christ, not your job or education

Galatians 4:7- You’re no longer a slave, you’re now a child of God

You are a precious child of the highest Kind and Heavenly Father (Psalm 139:13-14)

Galatians 5:25- Don’t be lead by feelings and emotions, be led by the spirit

Galatians 6:9- Don’t grow weary while doing good; When the time is right, you will reap what you’ve sown

The beautiful thing about God is that even though we can’t fully comprehend His love, His love fully comprehends us. God knows our sin but chooses to call us by name. The only thing that defines us is “I Am.”This is the name God gave Himself when asked by Moses who He is, and He is the reason we have value, purpose, and identity. We are loved by the God of the universe, and nothing can take that away.

We’re not called to be a soccer star, a comedian, a beauty, a genius, or a celebrity. We are called to belong to Jesus. Reflect that we are God’s handiwork, masterpiece, and creation. We are his own, chosen, have worth, found capable, and are forgiven.
