It’s been a while since I’ve written an official fundraising post, so here goes! This past Saturday, I hosted a fundraiser at my school (Roberts Wesleyan College) with music and a silent auction. I’m really grateful for all of the support I’ve seen from the RWC community since I’ve been accepted on the Race – part of the reason I chose a September route instead of waiting for January was because of the support and interest I would have from my campus. I’m also glad to have had the opportunity to talk to more people about the World Race and my journey as a missionary. Here are a few pictures from the event!

My display of my 11 countries on my route. It’s hard to see, but the sign I’m holding has the hashtag I’ll be using to keep track of my posts. Check out #whereintheworldissarah on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
There was an intense bidding war between Agustin (middle left) and Allysa (middle right) over one of the items. All for a good cause, though!
I don’t get to play guitar in front of people too often, but I have a lot of fun when I do. Photo by Becky Snyder.
I need to raise $1,000 more for my first deadline, and a total of $7,500 by the time I launch at the beginning of September. And if 135 people donated $100 each, I will be fully funded! If you are interested in making a contribution, of any amount, please click the “support me” tab to do that!
