As part of my mission trip to Haiti and the Dominican Republic, I need to raise $4,500 in order to help pay for airfare, food, and health care for the two months. It is currently March 6th and at the end of the month I have to have raised 50%. For this to be made possible, I need your guys’ support. Whether that be through financial support or through the power of prayer 1 dollar donation or 100 dollars, I will be grateful for any contribution. Do not think of this as a donation but rather think of it as an opportunity to take part in this journey with me. Fundraising was once described to me as being similar to two people drawing from a well. The well is broken, so the two must work together to fetch water. One person has to volunteer to be the hands and feet, being lowered to fetch the water. This person could be going for a number of reasons, the other person might not physically be able to or maybe they just led to. The other person has to help support the individual going to fetch the water. Without this person’s support, the first person would never be able to reach the water. By the end of the day, both people are exhausted whether it be shown from physically climbing to fetch the water or the scars on their hand from supporting someone else. Yet both reap the benefits of the water they obtained. Likewise, you might not physically be going on this journey with me, but that does not mean you are any less part of this journey. I may be doing physical labor, yet you would be supporting me financially or in prayer allowing me to go on this trip. I used to hate the idea of fundraising and asking others for money, but now I see it as my way of inviting you to come alongside me. I am not asking for money because I am in need but rather because I want to serve those who are in need. So I ask that you prayerfully consider coming alongside me during this journey.
Philippians 4: 10- 14
“I rejoiced greatly in the Lord that last you renewed your concern for me. Indeed, you were concerned, but you had no opportunity to show it. I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content in whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do this through Him who gives me strength. Yet it was good of you to share in my troubles”

•One of my ideas for fundraising ideas was to design shirts for my mission trip. I selected a long sleeve and short sleeve design. On the back is a quote by Christine Caine, “God does not call the qualified, He qualifies the called.” I chose this quote because one of my biggest fears so I ask that you prayerfully consider coming alongside me during this journey. going into missionary work was fearing I would not be prepared enough. Though only God can truly prepare me so I placed the world on the back because I want to leave those fears behind me as I leave for my mission trip knowing that I only can serve the world only through the Lord. On the shoulder, I placed World Race’s logo and the year because this year I want to devote to being the hands and feet of God and by going on world race I am working to build and glorify His kingdom. Lastly, on the front of the shirt, I placed a cross over the heart. I wanted this to be simple because I made a promise to God devoting my entire heart and soul to Him. God has my heart and everything I do I hope to glorify him in. •Another fundraising idea I had was to create cards. $2 a card of $8 for a pack of 5 and $3 for a custom card. The packs range from Happy Birthday, Tv shows, and sports team. Let me know if you are interested.
