Hi everyone,
My name is Sarah Kullen, but most people call me Kullen. God has blessed me with amazing parents and 3 older siblings. I am currently pursuing a bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Public and Nonprofit Administration at Grand Valley State University. But, in May of 2019, I am beyond excited to have the opportunity to be traveling with Adventure in Missions/ World Race this summer. I will be traveling for two months within Haiti and the Dominican Republic. By the grace of God, I was saved at the age of 17. God truly went before me and carried me through a season of depression, heartbreak and pain. During this time, I experienced God’s unconditional love, immeasurable amounts of Grace, and His life-changing friendship. Coming to know Christ, I devoted my heart and soul entirely for the purpose of serving the Lord, which is why I am so blessed to have the opportunity to share what I have found with others. I felt led to go on the Haiti and the Dominican Republic trip because I knew an area of spiritual growth I wanted to work on was evangelism. The month we will be spending in Haiti, we will have the chance to work alongside the community, get to know them, and spread the Gospel. Additionally, I have a heart for serving with children. The past 2 summers I have been fortunate enough to work at summer camps and in doing so, I learned I have a true passion for working with kids. The second month of my mission trip will be spent in the Dominican Republic, where we will help the community lead a vacation Bible camp for the children in the community. Thank you all so much for coming alongside me as I take this amazing Journey with Christ, words cannot express to you how much all the support means. I cannot wait to see how the Lord will be working within me and through me this upcoming summer, and I will be sure to share with all of you.
