I don’t know what I did to deserve this, but God truly blessed me this weekend.
My team and a couple of leaders had to go to Thailand because our visas got messed up.
Yes you read that correctly, we got to take a trip to Thailand
We left on Saturday around 10:30am and got to Bangkok around 11 at night. We had no idea how much we would get to explore. We really didn’t have much expectation, but Jesus had other plans. 🙂
We accidentally missed our bus on Sunday so we got to spend the whole day in Bangkok!!!!
My one request was to go to the top of a skyscraper and see the skyline at night… and I really did not think it would come true…I felt bad for even asking if we could do it…
but it did, and I will never be able to forget it.
we ended up having tuktuk races there.
-We had no idea where we were even going.
-We were weaving in and out of traffic to get there.
-This was an unforgettable, amazing, insane experience that I will never forget either.
-I am definitely doing tuktuk races again, it was so fun.
We made it… to somewhere in the city, and we tried multiple hotels (to get to the top), but we either needed a key card to get to the top, or we weren’t even allowed through the door.

a hotel that didn’t even look promising…
had a floor…floor 28
and when I stepped off of the elevator, tears were brought to my eyes.
I saw a skyline that went on forever.
I saw lights that met the sky.

it was all Jesus and the second I saw that view, I knew it was him saying “your welcome.”
Taylor (one of my squad leaders) pulled me to the side, pointed at the view, and said “you are worth all of this, you are worth fighting for.”
After she said that, something clicked. Not only did God make me a dreamer,
he showed me that I have the ability to fight for people, the same way He fights for me.
I have no idea what I did to deserve it, but I will spend the rest of my life thanking Jesus for that moment.
and I will spend the rest of my life fighting for people the way Jesus and my team did for me.
