To: The Great Artist
You are the most famous artist in the universe. Your masterpieces are most extraordinary and there is nothing else like them. Each one is perfect having not a single flaw. Every one of them is unique, beautiful in its own way. Yet there is something I can’t quite place, that is alike in all your masterpieces: A brush stroke here and some blending over there. It’s your unique style that makes your masterpieces stand out from the others. Some love your work admiring its unique beauty, while others scoff at it for being far too different for their taste. Yet you know that each one is perfect, exactly what you intended them to be. Now you sit poised in front of a blank canvas. You know exactly what you’re going to paint. You’ve always known, and now is the perfect time to paint it. Your steady hand paints the first stroke, interrupting the white vastness with soft rose pink. You add a splash of vibrant yellow and a touch of azure. In a steady upwards motion you leave behind a trail of forest green that blends with a bold orange that you mixed to precision. In one sudden and painful motion, you streak a fiery red across the painting, obscuring some of the other colors. Some would say you ruined the beautiful painting, but it was not a mistake. Your perfect design is still in place. Slowly but surely, you intertwine lilac amongst the red, softening the edges and giving the painting some depth. Then, with the deepest love, you dip your paint brush in crimson and flick it over the masterpiece dotting the other colors in red. From the middle of the painting began to flow colors of cherry blossom pink, lupin purple, sunflower yellow, and poppy orange. A smile lights your face as the painting grows in beauty. You will never stop painting your masterpieces , always adding more depth and color and vibrancy to every square inch of the canvas. You have never sold one of your paintings for they are all your special possessions, and you the artist take much delight in them. For your paintings speak boldly of who you are and cause others to praise you for your beautiful work. They show the depths of your love and the beauty of your nature, and how extraordinary you are, unlike any other.
