This is my team Rejoice Always. I have spent the last month doing life and ministry with them and will continue doing ministry with them in Peru. These 5 people have shown me so much love and acceptance and I see Jesus in each one of them.
Meet Gail:
She is our new team leader. She is brave and strong. She has a genuine and authentic spirit. She always steps out in boldness. She has the best taste in music and clothing (that she generously allows me to borrow all the time). She loves others well and has a servant’s heart. She always displays kindness and generosity. I see Jesus in Gail.
Meet Nicole:
She is our team’s treasurer (and is literally killing it). She is an extremely hard worker and always gets things done. She is protective over those she loves and I always feel safe around her. She is fierce and has a fire down deep in her soul that shows in everything she does. She is bold and courageous. Nicole is a badass. I see Jesus in Nicole.
Meet Catherine:
She is our alumni team leader. She is a perfect picture of gentleness and graciousness. She is extremely patient with others (especially with our team when we are being loud and crazy). She sees others extremely well and is intentional with each interaction. She is diligent and always follows through. I see Jesus in Catherine.
Meet Thomas:
He is fun-loving and easy-going. He exudes a childlikeness that draws others in. He walks in confidence of who Christ says he is. He carries a lot of influence with others that will take him extremely far in life. Thomas brings light and laughter to everyone he interacts with. He is quick to call others higher and wants the best for everyone around him. I see Jesus in Thomas.
Meet Taylor (aka Flick)
He is the squad’s safety officer. He is equally goofy and serious. He is extremely introspective and can see how God moves in each situation. He is very strong-willed and is always true to himself. He is loyal and faithful to those around him. He is extremely intentional and seeks others out. I see Jesus in Taylor.
