This will probably be the last blog I write with reliable wifi, so enjoy it while it lasts. I am currently enjoying a much needed retreat to my brother and sister-in-law’s house in NC and will head to Atlanta tomorrow to meet up with my squad for some additional training, and then we fly to Albania on July 1!
All of my teammates have met their current fundraising deadlines and we will all be leaving together on time! Thank you for your prayers and support for them.
I wish I could thank each and every one of you for all the love and support you have shown me! I have been overwhelmed with breakfast/brunch/lunch/dinner dates the last few weeks, and I have nearly met my fundraising goal. This is so amazing! I have never felt so loved before in my life and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I will miss you all terribly.
My phone has been suspended and is home in a drawer somewhere. If you would like to communicate with me you can through email, facebook, instagram, and I will have text on my ipod. If you need any of these, send me a message. Of course these things only work when I have wifi, and as a team we will be trying hard to limit how much wifi consumes us, so please be aware of this. I love you all dearly, but if you don’t hear from me for weeks at a time it’s ok. Also, I’ve been told that sometimes the wifi is slow enough that email is the only thing we can get to work, so keep that in mind.
I have all your letters and I am so excited to start opening them! Thank you so much for writing them, and please know you can send me emails as well if you wanted to send letters and were not able to.
I will try to update everyone as soon as possible when I find out what kind of ministry we will be doing in Albania, but for now I have no details. I would appreciate prayers for smooth travel to Albania and for my team as we get to know each other better and start living life together.
