Where I live, there is only one Christian radio station (K-love). While most days it comes in half static, someone riding with me once said, better static and encouraging music than clear and not uplifting. They are currently in the middle of their Pledge Drive to raise money to stay on the air both here and around the country. There are times throughout the day when challenges are presented where they need so many donors in a certain amount of time to get bonus support. The other day on my way to work they had a tough challenge (I don’t remember the specifics of the challenge) and they were talking about the impossible and asking what is your impossible. I immediately thought of my own support raising. There were (and still are) many days when I am discouraged trying to reach the first deadline, thinking that $3500.00 was impossible, let alone $15000.00! Then, as I reached the first deadline, I was reminded of just how much God provides. One of my favorite verses is Philippians 4:13; “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength!” Whenever life seems impossible, I am reminded that God has it all in control and that NOTHING is impossible with Him! K-Love’s ministry through their radio program, static or not, gives me hope and encouragement daily! I know this might seem weird as I try to raise support myself, but check out their web page (http://www.klove.com/ ) and prayerfully consider supporting their ministry in your own area. By giving financially to them each month and helping them stay on the air, it is my hope and prayer that others will be encouraged and their lives changed through their ministry just as mine has been.
