Is This Worth It…
To give up any and every expectation that I may have for what my future holds.
To give up a year of my life to go and serve in any capacity that Christ has called me to.
To live out of a backpack with merely the bare necessities of life and be overly joyous while doing it.
To live for a year with a team of complete strangers.
To sleep outside, on floors, or lying next to orphans that have been ravaged by the horrors of this world.
To see the brokenhearted, poor, and needy and to love them unconditionally just as Christ loved them.
To live a life of complete reckless abandoment for Christ to tell the world of his love.
Absolutely this is more than worth it!
To have a love and a passion for Christ that is so on fire I cannot help but share his love with others.
To be grateful for everything he has given me and to find my want only in him.
To wake up every morning and find hope even when it may seem like there is none.
To gaze at all of his beautiful creation that he as an artist has created.
And To love others, serve them, and to be a vessel for God’s glorious Kingdom.
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfector of our faith. Hebrews 12: 1-2
