This last day of travel has been an eventful one.

First, we stopped at 01:00 for what we thought was a normal stop, but was actually a one-hour stop to fix the engine…

I will be a secondhand smoker by the end of this trip.

…We were back on the road by 02:00, and around 06:30 the engine stopped working properly. It was fixed temporarily, enough for us to stay in first gear and get to the next bus stop. We arrived there at 08:00, and sat while the crew worked to fix it fully. Around 09:00 we were told there would be no fix, and another bus was coming to pick us up…

One month is not enough time to learn the language and love on the people as they need it. Other cultures do so much better with loving unconditionally, with trust, even though they have no idea who you are.

…We waited for a couple hours for the next bus, and left at 11:00 on that bus…

Holy Spirit, I know you are in me. I want more of you. More of you. More of you.

…We stopped again at 14:30, and Jess informed us that it could be another 4-5 hours because apparently the Indonesian president was in Medan, so traffic was bad…

…We got into the bus stop at 19:30, where our contact, Robert, and his wife met us. We left for the location we were staying at the edge of the city, and got there at 20:30.

This story of travel has now concluded with 82 hours of travel over four days.

We then went out for dinner, all took showers, and went to bed.
