Over the past week, I have gained a new team again, and began working at another ministry!

My new team is Team Full Throttle! (0 to 100!!) We are seven people, Sarah Coffey, Alycia, JoAnna, Nina, Salvador, Darek, and me! It’s definitely a very different team than my last two, and I’m interested to see what God does for all of us through this team!

Full Throttle will be working in Ukraine for the next few weeks. Our ministry, Blessings Ministry, is located in a village of western Ukraine, right outside of Lviv. The ministry is a family ministry, run by the Blessing family… Yep, it’s true.

Blessings Ministry has three facets: the church, a field garden in the village, and Bethel House. The church is one they helped plant in Lviv, and at which dad Mark is the pastor, and oldest daughter Bria is the worship leader.

The field garden the village has given them is a way to have enough food (and save money on food) around the house. They can plant really anything they want, and they have smaller vegetable plots at the house for the plants that are used more often. This makes getting vegetables such as lettuce and radishes easier than having to walk out to the fields.

Bethel House is where we are staying. It is the largest house in which I have ever slept. It has three stories, can sleep 23 people plus the family, and has spaces for conference meetings. There is a game room, a kitchen of which my mother would be jealous, and a dining room with enough space for 36 people to eat with plenty of elbow room. The living room is amazing also, with a projector and screen, a huge window seat, a fireplace, and multiple comfortable places to sit.

The house has multiple uses. It is open for full time missionaries or anyone in chaotic situations to come and rest if they need it. It is a stop over for Jewish individuals and families trying to emigrant to Israel. It can also double as a retreat center for groups if the Blessings so choose to host them. The building process of the house began ten years ago, and the details are finally being completed. The family has only built as the money was available, so it has been a very slow process.

Full Throttle gets to be involved with all of these areas of ministry. We are helping cultivate and plant the garden, working around the house cleaning and painting and helping with other projects that are part of the building process, and leading the Thursday night young adult meetings along with giving testimonies and words on Sundays.
