Two weeks left. I am having such a hard time focusing and being here. I love our ministry and the girls have wrapped their arms around my heart, but my family is only two weeks away. To the day.
Killing that heartache of wanting to see my family is so hard sometimes. Not letting those thoughts and feelings consume what I do is the task at hand.
So I focus on the next thing, then the next one, and then the next. Pretty soon I have invested so much focus into staying in the moment with the people right beside me that I forget all about that one date two weeks away.
And now I’m going to do just that and go hang out with our wonderful girls in our ministry.
