This month has been phenomenal. All of us have seen God at work in Swaziland, but I can say I see him most in the joy of the children. There are always smiles (even if they are shy smiles) when I walked by any child. There were lots of laughs with the girls at our ministry. There was so much dancing!! The children of Swaziland just have a genuine joy in so many situations!

Our last day in country I was walking to the store to get some travel food, and passed the preschool we walked by every day. While we walked by the school every morning, I had never been by when the kids were in assembly. They were singing some songs, it typical kids style, at the top of their lungs very much out of tune. The songs were all in Siswati so I didn’t know what they were saying.

As I walked up the road a bit, I heard, “Yes, Jesus loves me! This I know! Yes, Jesus loves me! This I know! Yes, Jesus loves me! This I know! The Bible tells me so!”

I slowly realized that their assembly was partially use to praise God, in two languages, and teach the kids how much God loves them! And to top that off, the kids were being allowed to be themselves and sing out of tune, at the top of their lungs, shouting with all their might and energy and lung capacity, to the Most High God of the Universe. All of their God given joy was clearing evident in that one moment.
