No literally…I am!

Hello from beautiful Nepal, home of Mt. Everest and a lot of other really tall mountains that are just as wonderful but not as famous.

Contrary to popular belief, I am ALIVE and WELL and absolutely LOVING Nepal! We have been here for about 3 weeks now and it is making its way to the top of the list as one of my favorite countries.

I have been working at a Bible school that is discipling and preparing believers to begin their own ministries.

Not that I have any advice on how to start a ministry, but I do have COMPUTER SKILLS.

So that is what I have been doing for the past 3 weeks. Teaching a course on all things computer related. (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Video and picture editing, Email and even good ole facebook)

We were able to build some really awesome relationships with the students and I was proud to attend their graduation last Monday. (It’s like watching your babies grow up!)

Anyways…aside from the students being completely awesome and hilarious. I also wanted to let you know how ALIVE and WELL the church is doing here. A lot of these students are first generation Christians and are truly living out the Gospel with their lives.

I can’t really explain how amazing they are, so I’m going to show you. Welcome to my month in Nepal…

Sumitra and Asmita, two of the sweetest girls that have loved on us all month.

Suraj is our main man. Best translator and such a HAM!

We like for them to sing for us, since they are so great at it. (From left: Vishwass, Asmita, Rama,
Suraj, Samuel, Asuk)

Our daily walk to ministry across an extension bridge. Not going to lie,  a little terrifying at first.

There is nothing like a Nepali dance party. You dance, then you get to eat really delicious chicken!

With our friends from the Netherlands, Stef and Tom, looking over into Tibet.

Three beautiful women that came to the conference we held in the mountains last week.

Prabin and Ishor. These guys probably have the nicest hair I have ever seen. We like to call them
the Jonas brothers.

All the students singing for us during our first class. Ubbo ubbo sailem lekaima, which means we
will take the Gospel to the Himalayans.

And we can’t forget sweet baby Rufus. He is the son of one of the women that works in the kitchen
to cook for the students. He’s like the community child!

So these are the faces that I LOVE this month! Please be praying for these students as they wll go out this next week and begin to start their own ministries.
