Yes, unfortunately, the fall human trafficking trip I was supposed to go on has been cancelled. I found out on Tuesday.
I've got a few options:
a) Transfer over to the 11 month WR Sept. route (they'll be hitting up the same countries that were on the previous list, doing the same thing plus other countries of course)
b) Transfer to the January route, country list hasn't been announced yet.
c) Go on a Real Life trip with AIM, either Cambodia or India, both trips will be about human trafficking prevention.
d) Pack it in and call it a day, my sponsors get their money back and I don't go anywhere.
I KNOW option d isn't even an option. But to be honest, I've been wrestling with God on this one the past couple of days. God has placed human trafficking on my heart since around Nov. 2010. Every time I start to talk about it, my heart takes over and I get all fired up about it, it's nuts!
So, after talking with God for hours on end, which kept me up until 4am two nights in a row, I finally surrendured everything to Him. I really really want to go on the World Race. But it's ultimately up to Big Guns upstairs. I'm feeling led to the Cambodia trip, so after more prayer (which will probably result in a third all nighter) and confirmation from God, I will keep you updated and let you guys know what the new battle plan is!
