Today we left Won Gai to head back to Atlantis.  Last night we had what we thought was our last meal with our English speaking friends.  We treated them to dinner and then were invited to the married couple’s house.  At their house, we traded songs and dances and had a pretty good Chinese party.  We were even invited to breakfast in the morning.

One of the students that we had invited to dinner has been on my heart.  Earlier in the week she had written me a letter in English about her life and how she wanted to be an English translator and come to the U.S.A. someday.  She had also asked us to give her an English name.  We decided to name her Hannah.

Before we left, I wrote her a letter explaining her name to her and the story about Hannah in the Bible.  I also was able to share a little bit of the Gospel in this letter and tell her about Jesus.  I don’t know her reaction to the letter, but pray that something I said stirs her heart for the Lord.  She wants to be my pen pal and write me in the U.S.  It was very hard saying goodbye to her.

This morning we got up to eat breakfast with a couple of our friends.  Chinese breakfast is much different than an American one.  We feasted on potato noodles in a soup with meat and tofu, steamed rolls with spinach and meat in them dipped in a chili/vinegar mixture, and of course green tea.  I think I would rather give myself a papercut that eat that again!

Tomorrow we leave to go near Tibet.  Pray for the new villages we will be going to and the long travel it will take to get there (about 30 hours in a bus)!  I can’t wait to share stories of what the Lord does in the new village.  Continue to pray for our friends from Won Gai as well.  Pray that the Gospel we shared will become truth in their lives!

I finally got some more pictures up and added a few to my blogs.  Make sure to check those out.  I totally get the last place trophy for putting pictures up!
