There´s nothing like piling into the back of pickup trucks with our entire team and about 10 other Guatemalans.  Personal space becomes very valuable and not all that easy to come by!

Ok so our basketball game the other day was a lot of fun.  They ran us hard, but if we were keeping score I don´t think we would have lost by that much (until the 2nd half).  Apparently a kicked ball is legal in Guatemalan rules.  After the game Gary shared the gospel through his testimony with some of the guys still around.  We can totally see God planting seeds in the village of San Pablo.

Yesterday we prayed about what kind of ministry to do.  None of us felt like we had gotten much, so just decided to head over to San Pablo and do some prayer walking.  Not long after we got there, a little girl came over and asked Kata, the pastor´s wife, what we were doing.  She explained to them we were a missionary group and were going to walk around and pray for people.  She got excited because her family needed prayer.

So we walked over to her house and  found out that her dad has an infection in his leg that is keeping him from work and with four kids it has been hard to provide for the family.  We prayed for him and encouraged the family with scripture.  Please pray for this man that God would heal him so that he can work.

After sharing with some more youth at the basketball court and inviting many to the service that night (which was a designated youth service), we walked up the hill towards the church to start preparing.  On the way Pastor Antonio suggested we stop by to visit Zacheo´s family (the boy who had accepted Christ the day we worked hauling rocks).  As we walk into the home I realized it was one that we had visited the very first day in the town.  We had talked with his mom that day and even prayed for Zacheo to come to the Lord without knowing him or his name!  It is incredible how God works and answers prayers!!!
