Twas the night before training camp
and all through the house
Sarah was packing like a champ.

….but that's all I got. It's been a long week haha.

Seriously though, Traning Camp for the World Race starts TOMORROW! It's crazy to think how fast the time has flown by since I was accepted back in May. I thought the day would never come when I would be hugging and joking with my 70 new best friends. Needless to say I am STOKED for tomorrow. Actually, I am stoked for tonight too because I get to hang out with two other girls going to camp with me as well!

I expect this week to be hard. There's no reason why it should be easy. I've had lots of conversations this week asking God to show me areas where I could use some work and to just help me break away from it. If that's not a scary conversation to have with Him, I don't know what is.

I've noticed he's already really working on me being extremely flexible in the past few months. Since I started student teaching, my classroom has changed multiple times including room set up, lesson plan changes, and teaching methods. I think I'm getting good at coming in and expecting anything to happen. I'm interested to see how He continues to make me work on this in the coming week.

It will be a week I never forget, I am sure. I love my squadmates so much already. I cannot wait to spend time with them for a whole week. God has already been doing incredible things in this group. I know He will continue to bring us closer together. We serve a BIg God who has unimaginable plans in store for us- individually and as a group.

Also, a fundraising update! I have already raised $9,000 toward this journey. God has truly blown my mind with this!! Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of you who have supported me whether that was financially, prayerfully, or just with encouraging words. None of this could have happened without you or without Him. I am eternally grateful for all of your support! Thanks for everything!

Please continue to pray for me this week as it will be challenging…and probably in unexpected ways. Continue to pray for the funds to come in for me and the rest of my squad. Pray that we will grow closer during this coming week and be able to be open and completely vulnerable and honest with each other. Pray for all the AIM staff as they head out to spend the week with us at camp as well. They are such a big part of this as well and so supportive!

See ya in a week! Let's do this thing! #NSQUAD Unite!
