So, if you read my last post, you know that I am teaching summer school at an Elementary school. Well not only am I doing that but I have been working on 3 different fundraisers that are going on this month. One of them actually goes on much longer but I will get to that.

So first off here's what my situation looks like:

I have a few different deadlines throughout the year that I need to meet financially. Here they are:

        • $150 Deposit – Due 6/6/2012 (2 weeks after you’re acceptance date.) REACHED
        • $3,500 – Due 9/29/2012 (2 weeks before Training Camp) Currently at $1,833.50 total.
        • $6,500 – Due 12/18/2012 (2 weeks prior to your trip)
        • $11,000 – Due 4/1/2013 (End of 3 months on the field)
        • $15,500 – Total Due 7/1/2013 (End of 6 months on the field)
  • I would really like to have my trip completely funded by the time I begin the race in January. Trying to fundraise while you are out of the country is not very easy and I can see it making me worry- causing me to not have my thoughts totally on my ministry like they should be.
  • So if you feel led to support me, I would appreciate it so much. I seriously cannot do this without you and without God's hand in it. I'm working really hard on giving my financial situation up to Him instead of worrying about it, but it is hard!

Anyway, I've thought of many, many fundraisers to help me reach that big $15,500 and a few of them are taking place this June.

First off we have my t-shirt fundraiser.

Each shirt is $20 (I get about $11- $13)
Sizes are: Kids L and XL and Adult S-XXL
Selling until June 30th when I will turn in my order
These shirts look cool and have all my race info. Hoping they remind you to pray for me and spike interest from all who see them!

The second way you can help support me is by coming to my HUGE GARAGE SALE
Happening on June 30th
Time: 7 am- afternoon (until people stop coming)
Place: 8906 Charity Dr. Colorado Springs, CO 80920
All proceeds from the sale will go directly to my world race fund.
I am asking for as many item donations for the sale as possible as well. Although my family has a good amount of stuff to sell, the more I have, the more money I can raise for my trip!
If you would like to donate items contact me (Ask me anything link on left)!
I would appreciate all the help and items you can give me!
Orange juice and breakfast food will also be available in the morning. For those of you who don't know, my mom is an amazing baker and her coffe cake is the best!
Tell all your friends and come support me at my sale!

The third and final fundraiser I am doing this month is selling bracelets from Threads of Hope
I'll put another post up here soon so you can read a little bit about them but for now go to: threadsofhope.com.ph
These bracelets are made by women in the Philippines (usually as their only income)

Many, many colors to choose from
$2 a piece
Quite addicting
I have over 2,000 to sell
I get to keep 50% of the proceeds and the other 50% goes back to these amazing women.
Contact me if you would like some
I will have them with me constantly so just ask to see them. If you don't live near me but you would still like to purchase some, just contact me! If you have specific colors in mind I will do my best to pick them out for you!
This is a great way to support both me and another amazing ministry without spending a ton of money (unless you get addicted to them)
I will be selling these for quite a while (probably until my race ends because I love this ministry so much) so don't feel crunched for time!! I will have these out at my garage sale to look through as well!
Oh and if anyone in Colorado knows how to get a booth to sell at during a craft fair PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE contact me! I am struggling to figure this out. It would be one of the best ways to sell these bracelets!
