Half of a Brick House

This month my team Arrow and I are working construction in Laos, which is a closed country (hence the password protection). We are spending our days hand making bricks and pouring the foundation for a house. Building the house reminded me of how we need God as our framework if we are build His kingdom.
The race is full of ups and downs. I’m half way through this journey. Half way to fulfilling this chapter God has set before me. God is setting my framework for His calling on my life. God is pouring truth over my foundation. He is bring people in my life to help me create an edifying framework for His kingdom.
To celebrate the half way mark, I want to recall my favourite moments of the race so far.
Ivory Coast– our host family loved us so well, and had handmade pink dresses made for us.
Ghana– Eilm City church was amazing, and I choose to get baptised there. We made friendships that will last a lifetime.
Nepal– the scenery was breathtaking, and it was the first time I preached. The first time I felt comfortable with public speaking.
India– God changed my heart for India. I never thought I would fall in love in India, but I did.
Cambodia– I loved getting to know missionaries stationed in Cambodia. I enjoyed spending time with the hostel owner and ministering to him. Also, Christmas and my birthday were flippin’ FANTASTIC in Cambodia!
Laos– We’ve had team bonding time over building a house. We are disgusting by 5pm. Red clay dyes our skin, rocks in our shoes, and cement chucks caught in our hair, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. Also, we were able to attend a wedding!
