I’m in Greece! For our ministry this month, we were assigned ATL – in World Race terms, this meant that we were supposed to ask the Lord what He wanted us to do this month, and that He would open up doors for us to do ministry wherever we go. When we began praying about this, it seemed that Greece seemed to be brought up a lot. We bought some train tickets to Athens, and the Lord provided housing that was within budget. Since we weren’t assigned a ministry, we have also been praying about what we were supposed to do. It has been amazing to see the Lord provide for us along the way – from getting lost and just happening to ask for directions from the right person, to having housing and food provided just when we needed it. This month is supposed to stretch us to rely on Him more, and it definitely has.
In the few days that we’ve been here, we have already been able to work with refugees, children, and homeless. I’m super excited to see what the Lord has for us this month, and will be posting updates along the way.
Here is a video one of my awesome teammates made our first day here. It kind of highlights what ATL is, and some of the things we have done.
