These are the least of these – the beggars, the orphans, the ones that go unnoticed by the rest of the world. These are the ones Christ has called us to serve.
I saw this girl begging outside of a local temple. She and some of her older siblings had been sent by their family to beg for money from tourists. Many people would pass these children by, purposefully ignoring them so as not to see the sadness. The beauty of this girls eyes fascinated me and I realized that these are the ones that should be noticed. I need to delight in the beauty of the least of these. Even with all the snot and the dirt, her eyes are still captivating
