Among the Wonders of the World, Angkor Wat is an ancient Buddhist temple built during the 12th century.
It is a series of temples located outside of Siem Reap, Cambodia. While there we had the opportunity to visit it!
We arrived early to watch the sunrise over the moat in front of the temple.
There are many different temples, each with it’s own unique marker. This temple is known for the many faces carved into the rock and towers.
Another is known for it’s overpopulation of monkeys.
This temple, probably most iconic, is know for it gigantic trees and their roots. It was featured in the Tomb Raider movie, and is a popular tourist attraction.
