A photo is worth a thousand words, and real talk: I struggle with collecting my thoughts into one blog post. So until I sit down and collect my thoughts better, these are photos of some of the women that we interviewed for our ministry hosts program. The countryside in India was beautiful and it was a privilege to see a glimpse of these women’s lives and culture. India was not at all what I expected, and I say that in a good way. I pictured scenes from slum dog millionaire – dirty, crowded, and crazy. At times it was, but there were also moments where it was peaceful, the people were very hospitable, and the food was amazing. It’s crazy to think that the first month is already over, but it was an incredible one.
