Twenty-two days.
Four women brought together by the call of God, led out from different points on a map, to be together right here, right now.
Four daughters named Shekinah learning about each other, our own strengths and weaknesses, our authority, our identity, and our purpose as a team.
These women are my family, and I can’t imagine this Race without them.
There’s Alecia Dockery from the great state of Texas.  She is wise, thoughtful, tells the best stories, is an amazing writer, and makes me laugh so hard that I snort uncontrollably.  She should  have her own TV show someday, seriously.
There’s Kathleen Schmidt from Michigan.  She passionately loves the creation that God has given us, is tenderhearted, appreciates a good cup of coffee, and loves Lord of the Rings as much as I do.  It’s great to be able to have hypothetical conversations about which kind of race of people we would be from Middle Earth and how there’s a little bit of hobbit in all of us.
Then there’s Janell King from Tennessee.  She is strong, has a heart for justice, has an infectious laugh, and loves fresh produce.  She is our friend, our sister, and our team leader.  I admire Janell for the honesty of her heart.  I love the way she challenges us as a team, encourages us as individuals, and builds us up as women of God.
When I look at my squad I see a hope for a future teeming with the love of Christ and the power of the Spirit, and when I look at Janell I see those things and more.  I see a woman whose heart cries out to see God’s Kingdom in full force here and now.  I see a woman anointed with God’s power like the prophets in the Bible.  I see an unquenchable thirst for more – more love, more honesty, more honor, more unity, more understanding, more revival, more freedom, more courage, more of God.
In twenty-two days we need to be fully funded or else we risk being sent home.
In twenty-two days Janell needs over $5,000 in her support account to stay here with us.
Seems like a lot of money, doesn’t it?
Well it’s not.
It’s chump change to the Body of Christ.
I want her to stay on the Race, to remain a part of our team, to continue to lead us, grow with us, and bless us.  I love her, and I do not want to see her go home for a lack of money.  That just seems silly!
So, my friends, we need your help.  We need your prayers and petitions.  We need your support.
I believe that in twenty-two days Janell’s support account will not be full, it will be MORE than full!
That’s twenty-two days to raise $5,000 dollars, that’s $227.27 per day.
Twenty-two days to see God multiply our resources, just like he did with a little boy’s lunch in front of 5,000 people.
I see four girls on a team, waiting on God for this for twenty-two days.
But God sees us, sees this situation, and says, “Twenty-two days?  I don’t work in your time, I work in my time!  It’s already done, my daughters.  It’s already done.”
For twenty-two days out of these 11 months I am asking for more of your prayers, more of your time, more of your support.
