India Summary:
India was hard. Granted we didn’t do a whole lot of labor intensive ministry or anything, but I struggled a lot. I struggled with losing the insatiable desperation for God that I found in Africa, I struggled with falling back into complacency, I struggled with a lot of insecurities that I thought I had walked in freedom from, I struggled to eat the food, I struggled with my lack of future plans, I even struggled with some of my teammates. But all along God still spoke to me and He still taught me a lot out of it. Now I know what you’re thinking, “of course He did,” but this has been a big fear of mine for awhile, falling back into struggle and not being able to hear from God. This month has been super fun but I still struggled, but praise the Lord I learned so much from all of it.
had another all squad debrief like we had in Thailand and Kenya. It was a lot of fun getting to celebrate Easter with the whole squad with an all night prayer and worship session, a sunrise service, and an Easter egg hunt. Not to mention just hanging out with everyone and having Tiffany, Patrick, Jay, and Denise back with us again. And on top of all of that, team Kindle and team Eleutheroo teamed up and dominated the all squad dance off (video will be posted soon). Also, teams changed again and I am now on team Tetris with JD Russell and Amy Duncan who have both been on my previous teams, Ryan Hughes, Amy Learn, and Sandy Gaston. I loved Kindle and we all grew so much with each other, but we kind of peaked and I know I’m going to learn so much and grow a whole lot more being on this new team.
Next stop: Nepal.
