I’ve got to tell you, I have been trying to write this blog for days now but every time I sit down to write it nothing comes out. I wish I had an awesome story from working with our ministry or some mind-blowing revelation from God that I could share with you… but I don’t. So here’s my life:

Our ministry: WonGen Kafe.
It’s not a whole lot different from Malaysia in that we basically sit around and do nothing most of the day. Technically we are supposed to be working in the cafe but the four beautiful ladies who work here won’t let us do anything. Occasionally we leave to go pass out flyers to promote the 1-year old cafe. Other than that, we mostly sit around and drink $1 smoothies (I know, be jealous). But the difference between sitting around here and sitting around in Malaysia is significant. I’ve learned a lot from Malaysia on how to better use all of my extra time and I have gotten so much time to just lay around and bask in my Father’s love for me (way more awesome than all that nothingness in Malaysia).

What God is teaching me:
So many things. Mostly things I haven’t quite wrapped my head around and gotten a full understanding of yet. I have a feeling that blog is coming soon and it’s probably going to be awesome, so get excited.

Thailand:
I love Thailand. So far there isn’t a single thing I don’t like about it (minus the sex-trafficking industry). It’s called the “Land of Smiles” and is proving to be fitting thus far, the people are so nice. I usually hate cities, but am loving this one filled with it’s night markets, it’s exceedingly large missionary population, and cheap and excellent Thai food. Only a 20 minute walk away from the cafe there is a waterfall that I have come to love being at. Across the street from the cafe is a college campus (hello home). There’s live music, a zoo, sports events, cheap public transportation, constant fireworks, nature, and horses… all of my favorite things. If God called me back to Thailand later in life, I wouldn’t be disappointed.
