Welcome to My World Race Blog!!!!
I am going on an 11 month journey!!! I can't believe this opportunity has come into my life. Missions have been on my heart for a long time now. I know this is what GOD wants for my life because He has put this journey on my life and in my heart. My whole life I have always wanted to just travel the world and help people, but then was not the right time. Now God willing, I will be able to reach others, and in turn have God change my life too.
On the World Race, my team and I will serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, and even minister to women and children who are trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking. We will also have the opportunity to bring the restoration and hope of the Father’s love to many tribes and nations.

How you can support me:
A) Above all else, please lift up my team and I in prayer. Please pray for God’s provisions, as well as safety on the field, spiritual growth, and for God’s glory to be shown in all we do.
B) I also ask that you please prayerfully consider partnering with me financially. In order to fund this journey, I need to raise $15,500. These funds will cover all travel, food and lodging expenses for the year on the field. This financial support can be given as a one-time gift or monthly donation. For the next 10 months, if 20 people pledged $50 per month, and 22 people pledged $25 per month, I would have 100 percent of the funds necessary for my trip.
If you feel you would like to support me financially, there are two ways you can do this:
1) Just click the “Support Me” link on the left side of this page, and complete your donation as instructed. (There are 5% credit card and 3% bank draft fees associated with online payments that will be deducted from the amount given).
2) Mail a check to the address below. Be sure to make it out to Adventures in Missions and include my full name and route info in the memo line to ensure the money goes into my account. (ie. Sarah Nelson July '13 Route 2)
